This painting is unique and original and was painted entirely by me. The hull form was compiled from a black and white sketch by Wm. Van de Velde, and the sail form, rigging and background detail were made by me.
De Ter Veere was a Zeeland built ship in 1653 of 48 guns. Sometimes known as de Kampverra. She was captured by the English in 1673 and then known as the Arms of Terver.
