This painting is unique and original and was painted entirely by me. The motorcycle was seen in Cardiff outside Cranes Guitars and photographed. It took 74 hours to paint and is priced at £1,200. Postage is £45 max.
Ducati 996 owned by Mike Podesta, manager of Crane's Guitars of Cardiff. |
Ducati 996. Who can forget the drone of the big twin engine when they were first entered for racing. Spine chilling stuff. Designed by Masino Tambourini in collaboration with Claudio Castiglioni, the engine is unique in having a cam controlled valve opening and closing (no valve springs). The design goes back to the 1960’s when air cooling ruled. The shop is Crane’s Guitars in Cardiff and well worth a visit, but beware – I remember two particular visits I made – and ended up taking a Gibson J200 and a Gibson ES335 home with me. So if you go there, remember to take a full wallet!

Guitars yeah! But have they got the right number of frets? |
The walls look as though they need a lick of paint! |
